While enjoying a day off from the excitement of the Sourdough Rendezvous Festival in Whitehorse I made a bunch of new friends at Tagish Lake. I got many kisses from my new pals. And maybe some cooties.

The dogs from Tagish Lake Kennel are award-winning animals and I certainly got to experience how they got the prizes they have won. I met over a dozen of their 60 dogs and the power behind them -- and in front of me on the dog sleds -- was impressive. They ran and ran and ran and barely tired.
